Staff - Senior Auditor
We have a great opportunity for a staff or senior level auditor. This position offers outstanding potential for growth and the opportunity to work with clients of various sizes, stages and industries throughout the region.
As an Audit Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing and completing field work including preparation of workpapers for a variety of financial statement engagements.
- Providing analysis of account balances and documenting findings.
- Assisting in drafting reports including footnotes.
- Working with clients in gaining an understanding of their business to apply the appropriate accounting and auditing standards in the preparation of workpapers.
- Conducting research on technical accounting issues.
- Developing external relationships and building a network of peers.
What do we look for?
- 1+ year(s) audit experience in a public accounting firm
- Accounting degree (4 year)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Integrity and strong work ethic
- Timely and accurate with close attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple priorities well
- Team focus
- Positive attitude
