The skills of a Certified Valuation Analyst are most often required in conjunction with the purchase or sale of a business, succession planning, buy-sell agreements, charitable contributions, estate and gift taxes, etc. In the litigation support arena, valuations are often needed in situations of business disruption, dissenting shareholder actions, divorce, and partner or shareholder disputes.
Chris is a member of our Forensic Accounting, Litigation Support & Business Valuation niche, and boasts two related credentials: the ABV (Accredited in Business Valuations) and CFF (Certified in Financial Forensics), granted through the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Approximately 1% of the 377,000+ CPAs represented by the AICPA in the U.S. have obtained these highly specialized credentials.
With almost 20 years of experience practicing public accounting in the Louisville area, Chris provides business valuation and forensic accounting services to small closely-held businesses and family limited partnerships. He is a trusted business advisor to the construction, manufacturing and professional services industries, and provides tax planning and compliance services to individuals with a goal of minimizing tax liabilities. Chris earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from University of Louisville, and is a graduate of Leadership Louisville and Ignite Louisville.
