Helping a client’s business work more efficiently, save money on taxes and take advantage of an exciting opportunity are the kinds of achievements that mean the most to us. They don’t usually come with a plaque or trophy, but with a wonderful sense of satisfaction.
Other achievements, however, have been noted with an award or some official notice, and we’re proud to list them below:
When Work Works Award
This prestigious award, part of the national When Work Works project administered by Families and Work Institute (FWI), recognizes employers of all sizes and types across the country. The awards are unique for their rigorous, two-step selection process, which involves an evaluation of employers’ workplace programs and practices, and a confidential employee survey on the key ingredients of an effective and flexible workplace. All applicants are measured against national norms from the National Study of Employers. As a recipient of the award, DMLO ranks among the top 20% of employers nationally in terms of its programs, policies and culture for creating an effective and flexible workplace. In addition, what makes this honor so special is that employees have corroborated this.
We are thrilled to receive this recognition for our workplace practices. Valuing and respecting our staff as ‘whole’ individuals, with varying needs for finding balance – mentally, physically, spiritually and financially – is a high priority for our leadership team. Offering flexibility and control of time is one of the most impactful ways we can empower our people for success.

Corporate Philanthropy Award
Giving back is such a part of our culture that we were recently ranked 6th among medium-sized (<$50 million) companies and recognized at the Business First Corporate Philanthropy awards, for not only our financial impact but for our 2,500+ annual volunteer hours.
